What is CBD? As a customer interested in legal hemp CBD oil, there are literally countless options to choose from in terms of brands, product “format,” potency, flavor, price, and more – the sheer amount of options can honestly (and understandably) be overwhelming. Here is a list of very frequently asked questions to help you make an educated purchase.

What is CBD?

Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a phytocannabinoid found in hemp. It is 1 of 113 cannabinoids (that we know of today) and is non-intoxicating and non-psychoactive in its effects.

What is the Endocannabinoid system?

The endocannabinoid system is the biological system that interacts with cannabinoids – for example, CBD. This system has been shown to be an integral part in the regulation of quite a few cognitive and physiological processes throughout the human body.

What are cannabinoids?

Cannabinoids are a group of compounds that are native to the hemp and cannabis plant – although can be found in other plants as well! Not to mention, they are produced naturally by the human body. At least 113 cannabinoids have been discovered to date and experts believe there are more. The two most notable ones are cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).

Is CBD legal?

As of the end of last year, hemp-derived CBD is 100% legal due to the Farm Bill. So, when shopping for CBD products make sure they are made with hemp-derived CBD, like all of ours.

It is 100% legal in all 50 states.

What is the difference between hemp and marijuana?

Scientifically, they are the same plant. Just like all human beings in that we are all of the same species. Hemp and marijuana have drastically different genetic profiles with hemp inherently containing very low quantities of THC vs. marijuana inherently containing very high quantities of THC.

Can I buy CBD from anywhere in the United States?

Yes. We ship to all 50 states.

Do BWell's CBD products contain THC?

The hemp oil in our products contains CBD derived from hemp which is 100% legal. Some products (like our pre-rolls) contain legal (miniscule amounts: parts per billion) amounts of THC so if you are worried about drug tests please stick to only the pure CBD isolate products found here.

What happens if I take too much CBD?

The most likely thing that will happen is just a more relaxing experience. There is a good chance you may feel tired if you go over 100 mg in one sitting, but this is not a guarantee, and no harm comes from this side effect.

If your body isn’t used to taking CBD, throwing a lot at it can make your stomach upset. This is a normal biological response whenever something foreign enters the body the first few times, and once the stomach realizes CBD isn’t an irritant, nausea should pass.

How long until I receive my item(s)?

We pride ourselves on fast processing, shipping, and delivery of your items. We want to make sure you get your items as quickly as possible. We ship 6 days per week (not on Saturdays) and if orders are placed before 3 PM PST the package will ship out same day.

All of our packages take 1-5 business days to deliver and we notify you of every step, including a tracking number.

What is your return policy?

How does the loyalty points program work? How long do my points last? Do they expire?

BWell has the best loyalty points program in America. You earn 5% of your total purchase back in store credit, evey single time. For example, if you spend $40 you earn back $2 in store credit.  Points never expire.

What payment methods do you accept?

We are proud to say we accept credit card online. Currently we only accept Visa.

When going through checkout you will be prompted to use our payment gateway. Easy peasy.

How long will it take for my order to be processed?

Payment is processed instantly so that we can get busy packing your order for shipping! You will receive a confirmation email confirming the order is paid and then a little later a second email with a tracking number.

What if my order is missing an item?

Please email us right away and we’ll investigate with our shipping partners, the very reputable and respected Shipbob.

Can I return an item?

What if I need to change my address?

If you need to change your address after the order has been shipped we can contact the courier to do so. Please let us know right away. If you want to change your address before the order is shipped but after it has been paid please email [email protected] right away. Thank you.
